Directions:

It is normally served in a small whiskey glass or a shot glass. Pour coffee liquor into glass. Top off with Irish cream. The Irish cream is sometimes poured over the back of a spoon as to allow it to sit above the coffee liquor (to give the appearance of the head on a stout beer). Also, in the U.K. Sambuca is used instead of coffee liquor. A pub glass and a shot glass . Commonly used ingredients: Pint of beer (~13 parts) One shot (1 part) spirit: Whiskey Rye Tequila Vodka Preparation: Usually served separately

History:

A Baby Guinness contains no Guinness beer: its name derives from the fact that it is made in such a way as to look like a tiny glass of stout. The main ingredient is Coffee liqueur (such as Tia Maria or Kahlúa). This is topped by a layer of Baileys Irish Cream, which is poured over the back of a spoon so that it sits on the Tia Maria like the head on a pint of Guinness. Note: In the U.K. a Baby Guinness is often served with black Sambuca instead of coffee liqueur. – Wikipedia
